We are not ones to stand still so our marvellous chefs, and gardening enthusiasts, have started the process of creating a wonderful environment to support the children’s learning and development opportunities.

This year they will be entering ‘Bromley Floral Fest’ where the set theme by the panel is ‘Growing Together’. The children will be supporting Niki and Sue with creating a planter to showcase in Bromley High Street on 20th June.

They will also be entering Ruxley Garden Centre’s ‘Best School Allotment Plot’ where the theme is ‘Sustainability’.

The children have been planting, and helping to grow a range of wonderful flowers, fruits and vegetables of which we are extremely excited to see our sunflowers, sweet peas, mini cucumbers, tomatoes and green beans flourish.

This year we will also be returning to our hydroponics, where the children will learn to grow plants just using water and have added some new planters and wooden structures to support further growth in the area.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful children alongside Niki and Sue for all their efforts in continuing to keep the children at the centre of our curriculum.
