At Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries our approach to your child’s development starts with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and goes way further to help your child make the most of their time at nursery and prepare them for the journey ahead.

My daughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle and at her previous nursery she cried as she didn’t want to go; at Monkey Puzzle she cries as she doesn’t want to leave! Her personal development has come so far thanks to the amazing staff and her key worker. She can now write all her letters and knows how to spell a few words, her counting has improved a lot and she has a wider knowledge about the world and public holidays.

The nursery has developed a child centred curriculum based specifically around the children’s age and stage of development for each of our 4 rooms.

Our curriculum remains flexible and our team adaptable to the changing needs of the children and our reflections of our practice and the way we organise our environments.

Week by week, bonds are strengthened and skills are learned to aid restful sleep, calm digestion & provide overall wellbeing in babies and children. Each activity and learning experience for the children is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

“The activities are varied and fun – things you can’t necessarily do at home, exposing them to new learning opportunities every day. We are very happy that we made the choice to send her to this nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents.”
