Time flies when you are having fun and we certainly have been having lots of fun in Monkey Puzzle Bromley these last few weeks. We have celebrated Valentine’s Day, St David’s Day, Holi, St Patrick’s Day and Science Week! As a nursery it is very important that we celebrate all different festivals and spend time investigating how other people in the world celebrate special events, their values and traditions. We need to teach our children that while we are all different we are all important, valued and respected.
Below are a few very important notices, please read them carefully and follow them – they are for the safety of your children!
Please DO NOT allow anyone you do not know to follow you through the gate or hold the gate open as you leave for anyone to enter. This includes people with children or people in a Monkey Puzzle T-shirt. I am sure you can understand that we need to protect your children but if parents continue to do this we cannot guarantee the safety of your children. Everyone will understand if you ask them to wait and press the bell themselves. If anyone has any issues with this then please speak to Amy in the office.
Please DO NOT bring food or drinks into the nursery. We have many children with various allergies and to protect all the children we need to be in control of what food is on site. Please do not put food into your child’s bag or leave medication in there.
Please can parents make sure that all items of clothing and toys being brought into the nursery contain your child’s names. We have a large collection of lost property and want to try and keep track of everyone’s things.
If your child is not going to be attending nursery due to illness or holidays please let us know as soon as possible.
Parent’s evening is on the 28th March, sign-up sheets are in the various rooms. Please sign up to see your Key Person if you wish to speak to them about your child’s progress.
Red Nose Day – Friday 24th March – wear red, have crazy hair and bring some money to buy a cake or two all in aid of Comic Relief.
Mother’s Day Breakfast – Monday 27th March – Mum’s, Granny’s, Aunties and important ladies in our lives are invited to join us for breakfast from 7.30 – 8.3oam.
Amy will be on holiday from 3rd April returning 10th April and Nicole will be away from the 10th April returning 21st April. If you need to speak to either urgently please e-mail the office so we can arrange this.
